Summary

Expressionistic still life of a decorative vase of wallflowers on a tabletop. There are vertical wooden beams behind the vase and cream coloured walls. There is a sprouting mass of green in the centre of the bunch of flowers, with flowers extending upwards and outwards in vermillion red, sky blue, browns and pinks. Some of the flowers are cut off by the canvas edge. To the left of the vase there is a flurry of paint marks in whites, light blue and green representing fallen petals.
