Black corded silk, lined black silk and white watered silk, slightly concave-sided crown, seamed each side, with flat oval top and narrow black corded ribbon band with bow at right hand side; brim bound ribbon, curving up slightly and turned over at sides; top of crown lined white watered silk, lower two-thirds lined black silk bow at top edge of black silk at back; top stamped.
