Summary

Toy tea service, bone china, with plain banded borders in pink overglaze enamel and pink details to moulding. Tea service comprises globular teapot tapering to base, with leaf-moulding to spout, handle in the form of two intertwined stems diverging at upper terminal, and twig terminal to lid; sugar bowl of similar globular form with two intertwined stem handles to shoulder and twig handle to lid; deep circular slop bowl; globular milk jug on everted foot, with shaped rim rising to high lip and intertwined stem handle; six slightly tapering cylindrical cups with plain handles; six saucers with upward curved rims; two cake plates with leaf moulded lug handles at either side. Glaze finely crazed. Four copper alloy teaspoons with violin-backed handles, pair of sugar tongs with spoon bowls.
