Summary
White cotton. Shaped waistband widening to centre front, two holes each side of centre back for lacing, fastening centre front with two linen-covered buttons above slit in centre front seam; seamed down centre back, legs seamed at inner and outer leg outside leg seam open for 12.5 cm; tape ties at base of each leg. Worn by General Pine (d.1830 in India). See also drawers (1954.925). .
