black cloth lined black cotton satin fronts each in one section, extending to side back, dart under arm each side; fastening with one button and buttonhole at base of low v-neck with turn-down collar, black twilled silk, ending in rounded revers; cut away below fastening; slit pocket, black cotton, with flap, at waist each side, one pocket containing notebook with notes of tailor's alterations; back in one section; long sleeves in two sections; stitched above wrist to imitate cuff; three buttons and buttonholes above wrist.
