John Cassidy
Summary
An etched portrait of sculptor John Cassidy. He is in three-quarter profile, facing right, with his mouth set closed and chin slightly lifted. While his textured, almost bristling face and quietly determined expression are fleshed out, the outline of his artist's smock is sparely indicated. Hazel Willoughby Harrison (d.2003) studied at the Royal College of Art's Engraving School at Ambleside in the early 1940s.
