Matching summer coat and short sleeved dress in beige wool crepe, trimmed at the front neck with vermicular narrow beige cord; princess line shift dress with A-line loose coat, coat fastening with a single covered button at neck; Stiffened straw hat with broad upturned brim and embroidered band to match. All labelled ' Mansfield clothes, London'. Purchased at House of Fraser on Deansgate in Manchester in Spring 1995 for a cost of £400, and was worn with shoes and hat (2011.39). Worn once only.
