Cocktail cap or hat in black velvet; round shape with peak centre back; front brim trimmed with ivory beadwork and pearls; narrow black veiling; lined black acetate; narrow woven label, 'Marshall & Snelgrove, Manchester'. Hat belonged to Sylvia Lillian McLean Worthington, b. 1921, who lived in Farnworth, Bolton.
