Summary

Three quarter left side, three quarter length portrait of Mrs. Thomas Barrow of Pendleton, seated against a landscape setting with lush red drapes behind her. She has long light brown hair bound in a white ribbon; a white muslin dress caught drawn in under her bust, a frill at the neck, and lace sleeves to her elbow. There is a gilt frame with deep moulding and octagonal opening. She looks directly at the viewer whilst gently smiling.
