Bias-cut, seamed down centre of underside, two diagonal seams across back neck, narrow at centre, widening to point each end, one wider than the other; interlined white canvas cut to shape of sewn-up tie and stopping short of point; label woven LIBERTY OF LONDON with crest, second label printed CUT FROM ENGLISH SILK SQUARES.
