Summary
Full length sleeveless ball gown with vast train, very full skirt and v neckline. Made of Iridescent green silk woven with spaced red fringed V-motifs. Labelled, John Galliano. John Galliano was born in 1960 in Gibraltar to British-Spanish parents. He trained at St Martins and graduated in 1984. His first collection Les Incroyable was phenominally successful and he launched his own label during the late 1980s and early 1990s, although without much financial success. From 1995-6 he was the head designer of Givenchy, then 1996-2011 of Dior. He has his own label 1988 to 2011. After his time in the wilderness he became creative director of Maison Margiela in 2014. He has been British Designer of the Year 4 times
