Summary
Public: Baluster shaped jug with scrolling handle, red earthenware, coated with deep metallic copper lustre with yellow ochre band to neck. Private: Globular jug on spreading foot, with tall, slightly flared neck, thickened at rim. Inset projecting lip, scrolling relief-moulded handle with spurs at thumbrest, terminals and above lower terminal. Coarse red earthenware with yellow ochre slip band around neck, body coated in deep orange copper lustre reserving yellow band embellished with painted copper lustre flowers. Interior coated with white slip, copper lustre coat to neck.
