Summary

Teapot : globular shape, loop handle, curved spout, enamelled overglaze, black, exterior. depicts a man in Chinese style clothing sitting on horned buffalo, facing left, bird is sky, large tree in front of low roofed buildings to right. Man raises hand to beat buffalo. Buffalo and Two Ships shows buffalo, head down, standing on riverbank, facing outwards, two junks with tall masts sail on river to left, willow tree, birds in sky. Underside of spout, flower spray. Lid : low dome, flattened rim, pierced steam hole, turret knop, enamelled overglaze, black, butterfly, flower sprays. pattern : Chinaman and buffalo pattern : Buffalo and two ships
