Tea Party No.2 depicts elegant man and woman seated on ornate bench, she passes teabowl and saucer to him, sword at his right. Shrubbery behind, framing bench. Front left laden pedestal table, dog playing at their feet, mass of foliage foreground. Distant left tree behind balustrade terminating at gate with pedestal surmounted with statue. Maid and Page shows woman, right, and black boy walking through wooded classical garden landscape towards right. He holds kettle and wears plumed hat, she holds dish. Tree to left, distant right, pyramid obelisk, rotunda on hill and gushing fountain. Enamelled overglaze black band inner rim.
