Summary

Public: Tea bowl and saucer, soft paste porcelain, transfer-printed in underglaze blue with Chinoiserie figures. Private: Deep circular tea bowl on tall footring. Sides transfer-printed in underglaze blue with group of three Chinese figures in fenced garden, and stylised floral spray. Blue band to bowl rim, simple blue flower in well. Circular saucer with steep sloping sides and tapering footring. Printed with more detailed version of Chinoiserie scene, three Chinese men in a fenced garden, two seated on bench, one standing by large floral spray plucking small flower. Blue band to saucer rim.
