Top hat of brown straw, the brim covered in brown facecloth with a Petersham ribbon band with original price tag, Petersham ribbon (3/4" wide) with a bow, under which the original price tag (illegible) is sewn. Inner leather hat band ( on the inside of which is stuck a small paper stamp 12", 17.pers". Makers stamp embossed in gold on inner band "Munt Brown & Co., patent manufactured for A & F Pritchard, London.
