Summary

Public: Globular teapot, hard paste porcelain, painted overglaze in green, purple, pink, puce and iron red enamels with scattered flowers. Private: Greyish-white globular teapot with tall tapering footring and tall neck. Distinctive ear-shaped loop handle with leaf-moulded thumb rest, curving spout with leaf-moulding at tip. Painted on each side with main spray of flowers and leaves in red, pink and green, smaller sprays of flowers scattered around it. Pink detail on handle, puce rim to spout. Flat domed lid with flattened edge and tear drop finial. Painted with scattered flowers in pink, white, red and green, tip of finial painted in red.
