Summary
sleeveless jacket used in home shampooing and as with a bathing costume on the beach: constructed from a towel, folded in two and seamed down each side, with a central hole for the head. Terry towelling woven in broad stripes alternating cream with shaded red, orange and yellow. Orange wool binding the edges and forming a cord to tie at the waist; similar wool binding neck and cf placket. Domestically produced.
