Join us for a unique dance performance, poetry and visual art session with Mahboobeh Rajabi.
Mahboobeh Rajabi is a British-Iranian artist from Manchester. Her work focuses on digital art, performance and dance, telling untold stories throughout culture and history.
Following a visual dance performance in the Rethinking the Grand Tour exhibition in Gallery 4, Mahboobeh will lead a poetry and visual art session, exploring identity and using Rumi’s poetry to help participants shape their own visual art and poem.

This is part of a wider project exploring Displacement Aesthetics initiated by the University of Manchester and the University of Melbourne, with Manchester Art Gallery, The Whitworth Art Gallery, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
