£45 each (minimum purchase of 2), book via Tock
Manchester Art Gallery is partnering with the increasingly popular, sustainable Mancunian Supper Club, Our Place, featuring seasonal produce from local growers, farmers, and community gardens.
Expect ‘to get cultured’ in this supper club in the Atrium at Manchester Art Gallery where fabulous food will match the fabulous surroundings.
Meat is sourced from Littlewoods Butchers of Stockport, and the vegetables from community gardens or small holding farms. Chef Iain Thomas frequently collaborates with Cinderwood Market Garden, Manchester Urban Diggers, and Hattersley Projects, sometimes using home grown veg from the garden!
This partnership sees Our Place not only supporting Only A Pavement Away, a charity that aims to find a permanent home, and to employ people who are homeless and support them into stable employment but also supporting Manchester Art Gallery. Some of the proceeds from the supper club will go to Manchester Art Gallery to help to protect and display our collections, as well as bringing free exciting learning programmes for future generations to enjoy.
A donation from your ticket to the value of £5 will go to Only A Pavement Away.
The first in the series of Supper Club events takes place on Friday 26th May 2023, doors open 6.45pm, with the tasting menu served from 7pm. Vegetarian and vegan options available.
Wine pairing will also be available.
Tickets are priced at £45 each, minimum purchase of 2.
