Philosophy Café is a conversation based session that usually runs in the gallery on the first Wednesday evening and third Tuesday morning of each month. A team of staff and volunteers lead each session usually starting in the gallery café, discussing the topic in small groups. After this we explore a relevant artwork on display, followed by a facilitated group discussion in a gallery space. Philosophy Café is an opportunity to experience art and discuss a philosophical question, creating a space for people to talk and think together.
You don’t need to be an art or philosophy expert. All we ask is you listen and respect other people’s points of view.
We will be using the Zoom to bring people together and run a similar experience of Philosophy Cafe.
You can access zoom through a laptop, tablet or smart phone, just something that has a camera and mic. You don’t need to create an account to access the session.
Please book through Eventbrite and select the correct date.
You will be emailed a link before the start of the session.
Philosophy Café online runs first Wednesday of the month, so if you can’t book on this one, please join us on another session.
We look forward to seeing you!
