Platt Hall Open Day

We hope you can join us for a day of activity, connection and tea and coffee!

Exhibition Launch : In the Windows with Nadia Sultana

In the first of our new programme of exhibitions in the windows of Platt Hall, artist Nadia Sultana explores the meditative healing power of the mandala. Through the use of repeated patterns radiating outwards to form a circle,  the mandala is an object of meditation, used in Hindu and Buddhist traditions to represent the life force of the universe. Nadia Sultana has created eight new mandalas for the windows of Platt Hall, inviting passers-by to embrace the slow and meditative process of personal healing through the contemplation of colour, shape and pattern.
