Create and perform a choreography in a weekend

Ad Hoc Dance is a contemporary adult dance company, open to anyone. No experience is required, just an enthusiasm to move and be creative.
Working alongside founder and choreographer, Ruth Jones, join Ad Hoc Dance for a weekend intensive course responding to Halima Cassell. The aim is to create a choreography for performance, in a weekend and will accompanied by live and electronic music by bassoonist, Luke Crookes. This 2 day course will comprise of a daily technical warm up, creative movement exercises and tasks to build a choreography in the gallery. The finished choreography created by Ruth Jones with the dancers will be performed for the public at the end of the course on Sunday 1 December at 3.45pm and 4.15pm as a free performance, open to all.
Please note that there is an additional optional opportunity to perform Uprooted on Wednesday 4 December. This requires a commitment to re-reherse at 6 pm and perform at 7.15 and 7.45 p.m.
