Are you 14-19 years old and enjoy art? Join us this October half term for our Creative consultants workshops.
Manchester Art Gallery
Wednesday 26 October 2016, 11am–4pm
This year’s October half term will take inspiration from Boris Nzebo’s Urban Style exhibition and the Fashion and Freedom resource created during the summer school. Working with artists Carly Bainbridge and Kate Dunstone, you will use the Mon-Wed sessions to plan the content and delivery of a gallery Thursday late event to take place on 27 October from 6-8pm. This is your opportunity to take over the gallery and show recent work and ideas. Friends, family and the general public are all very welcome to attend.
You’ll learn how to market your event, plan what will happen and where, and develop the creative skills to lead a workshop for members of the public.
Taking part is a fantastic way to enrich your CV, have something real to talk about at interviews, and spice up your half term.
The workshops take place on the following dates and times:
Monday 24 October 11am-4pm (lunch provided)
Tuesday 25 October 11am-4pm (lunch provided)
Wednesday 26 October 11am-4pm (lunch provided)
Thursday 27 October 3-9pm (dinner provided)
Your Thursday late event is already being marketed by us to the public, click here for details.
