Come and prepare for World Book Day and get some ideas for characters and costumes!
Manchester Art Gallery
Wednesday 19 February 2020, 1pm–3pm
In preparation for World Book Day on Thursday 5 March, let us help you get your character ideas flowing and costumes started!
Come along to our Costume Factory in the Clore Art Studio for inspiration and assistance in designing, cutting and stitching felt masks, headdresses and logos to bring your Gruffalos and Gangsta Grannies to life.
In May 2020 we are opening a brand new creative facility for families – as part of this we are trialing a “making space” to enable children to enjoy taking part in this annual international reading initiative.
Drop in to the Clore Art Studio any time between 1-3pm
Central Library will be running Costume Factory sessions on 17 and 18 February – see their website for more details: http://www.librarylive.co.uk/
Free, no need to book!
