Making conversation workshops combine an artist-led exhibition tour/discussion with a making workshop and plenty of discussion and experimentation along the way. This month’s workshop will be inspired by Annie Swynnerton, the first elected woman member of the Royal Academy of Arts in 1922.
The workshop is led by artist Naomi Kendrick. Naomi uses the multi-sensory aspects of her own practice to encourage participants to understand the art works on display though touch, sound, smell, sight and sometimes even taste. This approach means that these workshops are also particularly appealing for blind and partially sighted participants. Naomi includes ‘audio description’ throughout the workshops to support this.
The workshops take place on the last Tuesday of each month.
