Tea, coffee and chat. Bring a coffee related item.
Monday 1 June 2020, 11am–12pm
Free, please book on Eventbrite
We all have stories to tell about our relationship to tea and coffee. Join a team of staff and gallery volunteers for a relaxed conversation about all things related to hot drinks.
Do you have a particular habit or ritual associated with tea and coffee?
Some of the questions we’d love to discuss with you over a brew on a Monday morning:
How do you make your tea and coffee?
Do you have a particular habit or ritual associated with tea and coffee?
What kind of mugs, cups, teapots, coffee pots do you love and why?
Do you have particular cultural connections with tea and coffee?
In this Stories we Share conversation, we will be showing objects related to coffee drinking from the gallery’s online collection and we would love you to also bring along something that you own that triggers a conversation about coffee. It could be something related to how you make coffee or something that tells a story about your relationship with coffee. Or perhaps if you hate coffee be ready to share why you do.
This session usually runs in the gallery and is connected with the current exhibition Trading Station.
