Construct your own 'fabricated' fashion shoot in this week's family workshop
Manchester Art Gallery
Wednesday 10 August 2016, 1pm–3pm
Join us this season in the Clore Art Studio for a super, stylish summer.
This week textile designer/maker Simone has taken inspiration from our Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition to help you imagine your own fashion shoot. Create some fantastical costumes and outlandish backdrops to construct your own ‘fabricated’ landscapes for your fashion shoot.
– Which decade does your costume belong in?
– What is your backdrop setting? Home, away, rural, urban?
– Do the clothes relate to your backdrop?
It’s up to you!
Continue your artistic journey outside the gallery. Experiment with everyday materials and create your own fashion shoot scene at home!
All ages welcome but especially for ages 2-11 with parents or carers.
There will be a quiet room available for children with autism.
All of our sessions are free.
