Summary

Three-quarter length study of a young woman dressed in purple and blue drapery with a low neckline. She stands turned slightly to the left of the picture, facing the viewer. Her hair on her right side flows down her side and round her neck, with her hair on her left side secured on the side of her head, and decorated with a small purple flower. In the background, in the top right corner, is a square window. The wall on the left is decorated with a scroll ornament.
