Summary

Study of a woman seated at one end of a couch, in profile to the right. She leans slightly forward, her hands resting on her lap. Her hair is secured in a bun on top of her head, her shoulders are covered with a shawl. The model may be one of the Venetian models painted and drawn by Sickert - either La Guiseppina or possibly La Carolina.
