Summary

Public: Globular vase, white earthenware, slip-modelled with fish swimming amongst weeds, painted in silver lustre over a green glaze. Private: Thickly potted vase of globular shape tapering to flared foot, sloping shoulder and wide neck with thick everted rim. Slip-modelled round body with three pairs of fish swimming amongst three thick weeds, then decorated with a bright green glaze. Fish and weeds painted in silver lustre over the glaze, eyes picked out in copper lustre, river bed painted round base of vase in silver. Neckrim and interior painted in plain silver lustre, blue glaze inside.
