Summary

Public: Cylindrical vase, red earthenware, decorated with two lions rampant between two cypress trees in silver and copper lustre on an olive-green glaze. Private: Tall cylindrical vase, tapering to flared foot, high flat shoulder with wide neck and thick everted rim, decorated with a slightly curdled dark olive-green glaze. Two elaborate lions rampant with long wavy tails between two cypress trees painted in silver lustre round body, small clumps of grass and pebbles at intervals beneath them. Background pattern of regularly spaced small flowerheads in the form of groups of three spots in copper lustre.
