Summary

Tapered narrow cylindrical vase, white earthenware, decorated with grapevines and bunches of grapes in silver and copper lustre over a lustrous blue-green glaze, with flared foot and tall narrow neck with flared rim. Decorated with blue-green glaze which has turned gold and streaky in lustre firing, blue just visible round foot. Body painted with four tall vine stems and interlocking curly tendrils in pale silver lustre, supporting large silver leaves and heavy bunches of grapes in copper lustre with silver outlines round upper body. Plain silver lustre neck with simple border of alternating blue and lustre squares round shoulder.
