Summary

Public: Cone shaped flask vase, white earthenware, decorated with galloping deer between cypress trees in silver and copper lustre on a lustrous green glaze. Private: Cone shaped flask vase tapering from wide base on footring to tall narrow straight neck, decorated with blue-green glaze, turned iridescent dull gold in firing. Painted with four deer in pale silver lustre, galloping along a red copper lustre path lined with silver pebbles and tufts of grass, tall silver cypress trees between each deer. Four groups of Chinese classic scrolls like clouds above deer between tips of trees in silver and copper lustre. Plain silver neck with three copper bands beneath rim.
