Summary

Public: Tall baluster vase, white earthenware, decorated with four fish amongst weeds, in silver lustre and copper red on a mottled lustrous glaze. Private: Tall 'Meiping' shaped baluster vase tapering to narrow flared foot, with high flat shoulder and elongated flared neck. Decorated with a mottled and streaked iridescent glaze of purples, browns and yellows, with a pink copper lustre sheen. Four fish in bright silver lustre round waist, with copper red eyes, swimming against bubbles and three tall weeds in dull yellow lustre, rising from river bed painted round foot. Plain silver band round foot, iridescent gold neck.
