Summary

Public: Bulbous vase with tall, narrow neck, white earthenware, decorated with tall flowering plants and scrolling leafy stems in silver and copper lustre on a sky blue glaze. Private: Tall bulbous vase on footring, tapering to tall narrow flared neck, decorated with sky blue glaze blending into green near base. Painted with four tall plants in thick even silver lustre, each terminating at shoulder in three large iris type flowers in red copper lustre with silver outlines. Round lower body, between each plant, scrolling stems of heart shaped leaves and groups of berries in silver lustre. Neck decorated with four narrow vertical panels of simple leafy stems in lustre, lustre becoming a dark brown colour near neck rim.
