Summary

Public: Ovoid vase with flared neck, white earthenware, decorated with cobalt blue flowers and interlacing silver lustre foliage over a lustrous blue-green glaze. Private: Ovoid vase on deep flared footring, tapering to narrow neck with wide flared rim. Decorated with a blue-green glaze turned iridescent green with turquoise streaks. Main body painted in silver lustre with delicate feathery foliage, three reserved vertical panels of narrow pointed oval shape at intervals. Single bright cobalt blue flower at top and bottom of each reserved panel. Wide collar round neck painted with Celtic style pattern of interlacing lines, footring painted with similar interlacing line pattern forming lozenge shapes. Plain silver lustre neck rim.
