Summary

Cylindrical vase tapering slightly from flattened shoulder to flared, ridged foot, short straight narrow neck. Decorated with a deep cobalt blue glaze. Painted overglaze round body with five small lions rampant in silver lustre, between five tall cypress trees in copper lustre with silver outlines and lattice. Fill in motif above lions of scrolling silver tendrils with heart shaped leaves surrounded by small copper lustre dots. Silver border round foot with blue reserved motifs, geometric border round shoulder of overlapping semi-circles partly filled with lustre. Plain, slightly iridescent silver lustre neck.
