Summary

Public: Cylindrical vase, white earthenware, decorated with wavy stems of Tudor roses in silver and copper lustre on a lustrous orange glaze. Private: Cylindrical vase with flared foot and straight neck, decorated with a bright orange glaze, turning a lustrous blue-grey at foot. Painted in silver lustre with four thorny undulating double stems rising from foot to neck, from which grow scrolling leafy branches and two rows of four Tudor roses in copper lustre with silver outlines, all in regular repeated pattern. Silver bands round foot, with wide guilloche border reserved in blue-grey. Gold rim to neck, white interior.
