Summary

Public: Baluster jar with domed cover, white earthenware, decorated with flowers and scrolling foliage, in silver and copper lustre over a dark cobalt blue glaze. Private: Baluster shaped jar with swollen shoulder tapering to flared foot. Narrow neck with flared rim, high domed cover with pointed finial. Decorated with a dark blue cobalt glaze. Painted round body with eight chrysanthemum type flowers in copper lustre with silver lustre outlines, surrounded by curved stems and oak-type leaves in silver. Silver neck with simple dot and dash border round rim. High domed cover divided into six panels, each with a simple scroll in silver against dark blue ground, plain iridescent silver finial.
