Summary

Public: Globular vase, white earthenware, decorated with four flying storks surrounded by foliage, in silver and copper lustre over a lustrous mauve glaze. Private: Globular vase, tapering to straight foot, with curved shoulder and short, flared neck. Decorated with a lustrous mauve-pink glaze, possibly originally blue-green, with patches of iridescent blue-green visible round foot. Painted in silver lustre round body with four flying storks, each framed with branches of long slender leaves and small copper lustre berries, reaching up from foliage round lower body. Border round shoulder of silver wavy lines, plain silver lustre neck.
