Summary

Globular vase with tall neck, white earthenware, decorated with cypress trees and leafy stems in copper red over a dark lustrous glaze, tapered to narrow flared footring, sloping shoulder and tall, narrow, tapered neck. Decorated with a blue-green glaze, turned an iridescent olive green and gold in patches and streaks. Painted in copper red flambe with four stylised cypress trees, between four groups of two overlapping curved stems with heart-shaped leaves. Copper red border of hearts and spots round shoulder, and vertically striped neck. Silver lustre border to neck and thin band round foot. Blue-glazed interior.
