Summary

Public: Globular vase, white earthenware, decorated with stems of feathery foliage in silver lustre over a lustrous mauve-blue glaze. Private: Globular vase tapering to narrow straight foot, rounded shoulder and short neck with everted rim. Decorated with blue glaze over which a lustrous wash has been painted giving an iridescent gold and mauve streaked appearance, slightly milky in patches. Painted over this in gold coloured silver lustre with seven slender stems of feathery foliage, reaching up from foot to shoulder. Wide border of feathery fronds round shoulder, plain silver neck, slightly iridescent.
