Summary

Public: Ovoid covered jar, white earthenware, decorated with pine cones and interlacing foliage, in silver lustre over copper red on an orange glaze. Private Ovoid jar with straight foot, short straight neck and wide flat cover, slightly domed. Decorated with an orange glaze over which has been applied mottled copper red, slightly lustrous. Painted in dark brown silver lustre with eight pine cones, four reaching down from shoulder, four reaching up in between them from foot. Orange base glaze visible through scaly lustre pattern of cones. Clusters of pine needles between cones in mottled yellow and brown lustre barely visible against red ground. Lustre chevron border round neck, plain dark brown lid. White interior.
