Summary

Cream paper, printed with a lithograph of a group of promenadors in a garden : three couples, a violinist and a small boy. Hnad coloured in reds, blues and yellow. faded border of pink scrolls and lines. Small piece over 7th stick stitched to leaf where it had torn off. Reverse lined with cream paper. Sticks are plain slender wood, crudely carved. Guards similar. Very square tops. Fixed metal rivet and washers. A cheaply produced popular fan. Part of the Moorcroft donation and No. 475 in the Moorcroft Catalogue. Purchased by donor's sister on 13.12.58 at the Portobella Road Market.
