Summary

Ovoid globular vase tapering to wide flared foot, with very narrow flared neck. Decorated with a bright green glaze, paler round shoulder and deepening to foot, with slight milky patch on one side. Painted round body in silver lustre with five fish swimming nose to tail amongst groups of bubbles and four weeds, rising from slender stems at foot to broad fronds round shoulder. River bed round base of vase, indicated by small tufted plants and pebbles. Fish eyes picked out in copper red. Plain pale silver lustre neck, deepening to gold at rim, iridescent lustre foot.
