Summary

Public: Squat globular vase with tall narrow neck, white earthenware, decorated with three birds perched among pine tree branches, in silver and copper lustre over a peach-coloured glaze. Private: Flattened globular vase on deep flared footring, with tall, narrow, straight neck. Decorated in a peach-coloured glaze with patches of orange-pink and yellow, turning through green to bright turquoise and blue on footring. Painted round body in silver lustre with three small birds, each with copper lustre eyes, perched in pine tree branches amongst clumps of pine needles. Group of small silver dots around base of neck, neck itself decorated wtih Chinese classic scroll pattern and plain iridescent silver lustre band at rim. Two narrow silver bands round footring.
