Summary

Public: Slender ovoid vase with tall neck, white earthenware, decorated with two goats rampant, in dark lustre over a copper red glaze. Private: Ovoid vase tapering to narrow, flared footring, and tall, narrow, straight neck. Decorated with a copper red glaze, and painted in dark brown lustre with two goats rampant against a background of different sized scrolls and spots. Lustre has fired away in places, the pattern remaining in a pale orange colour showing through the copper red glaze. Iridescent silver lustre band round foot, dark brown lustre neck with narrow red band reserved beneath rim. shape : 2581 range : Lancastrian
