Summary

White muslin, sprigged pale green, white embroidered lines, with machine made imitation and guipure lace. Fastens CF with four patterned buttons. Very large floppy collar, consisting of a square edged piece of muslin, trimmed with a strip of white machine guipure lace, and edged with a wider gathered strip. A ruffled layer of the muslin has been triple sewn to the hem. It is noticeably shorter at the back than the front. Long sleeves. The cuffs are decorated with a deep, diagonally set cuff of the machine lace. Jacket is quite grubby, and mended in some places.
