Summary
Powder blue wool in slightly fancy weave. Turndown collar with pointed ends, caught down to dress at each side of centre back, long bow of self fabric at centre front. Neck has 22cm opening fastening with zip. Skirt is flared, fastening at left side with zip. Belt carriers each side. Three quarter sleeves. Pads inside shoulders. Separate belt of stiffened dress fabric, fastening with a covered buckle and five alternative metal eyelets. Label : "Kinesco Model" and "CC41 / X210F/2" Also a horseshoe. Worn by donor for her marriage to Peter Helm on 25 June 1949 at Christ Church, Moss Side, Manchester.
